Mike Rivers
Mike Rivers has written many articles and product reviews for the audio industry over the years, including a regular column for Recording Magazine. He has two books to his credit. For the second and third generation users of the Mackie hard disk recorders, he has written The Last Mackie Hard Disk Recorder Manual and was the principal author and editor of The Mackie Compact Mixer Reference Guide.
Mike has done his share of recording over the past 50 years including several years with a remote truck, as Gypsy Studio, primarily recording folk festivals for locally produced albums and radio broadcast. Mike is currently available for on-site consulting, technical writing, and regularly covers Music Industry topics on his blog Mike Rivers - Useful Audio Stuff.
