Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with your Rain product or find that it did not fit your intended application you may return most new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by Rain within 30 days of delivery for a full refund less outbound shipping costs and a standard restocking fee. If the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc) we'll also pay the return shipping costs.
If you need to return an item, please fill out our online Return Authorization Form within 14 days of receipt of the product. This will provide you with a RMA return reference number and allow us to more easily track your package. The product must be returned to Rain within 14 days of the issuance of the RMA. All products must be packed in the original, packaging including any accessories, manuals, documentation and registration that shipped with the product. A 15% open box fee will be assessed on any opened hardware or accessory.
Note: Configure-to-order, personalized or other customized product may not be returned for refund or exchange under any circumstances.
Dead On Arrival (DOA) Product
A Rain-branded hardware product is considered DOA if it shows symptoms of a hardware failure, preventing basic operability, upon its first use out of the box. If you believe that your product is DOA, please contact RainCare Support via the RainCare Helpdesk or call 1-877-MIX-RAIN within 30 calendar days of the invoice date. RainCare Support will determine whether the product is DOA and arrange for replacement or repair.
Product must be deemed DOA by Rain Care Technical Support within 30 calendar days of the invoice date in order to receive a replacement unit.
DOA Terms and Conditions
- This DOA policy applies only to Rain-branded hardware products. Rain reserves the right to determine whether or not this policy applies to new products as they are added.
- This DOA policy does not apply to third-party products. Please call the manufacturer directly with any third-party product issues.
- If the product is deemed DOA by RainCare Support more than 30 calendar days after the invoice date, Rain's standard product warranty will apply.
- If the product is deemed by RainCare Support not to be DOA, Rain's standard product warranty will apply.
Shipping will be arranged at Rain's expense for all products determined by RainCare Support to be DOA.
Rain reserves the right to test returned DOA product. If the condition of the product is misrepresented by the customer, Rain may impose a handling fee.
Defects
Rain Branded Products
In the event of a product defect for any Rain-branded product, please contact the RainCare
Helpdesk or call 1-877-MIX-RAIN. Such a defect, if any, is covered under the terms of your product's warranty.
Third-Party Products
In the event of a product defect for any third party product, please contact the
manufacturer directly for information regarding the manufacturer's
warranty.
Note: Products sold through this web site that do not bear the Rain brand name are serviced and supported exclusively by their manufacturers in accordance with terms and conditions packaged with the products. Rain's Limited Warranty does not apply to products that are not Rain-branded, even if packaged or sold with Rain products.
Custom Configured Computer Product Production Time
Though most custom-configured computers and personalized products ship 2 to 4 weeks, it may take up to 8 weeks to receive your order. Please contact your Rain Sales Team representative to check the status of your order.
Repairs
In the unlikely event that your system or purchased hardware develops a fault during the warranty period then you can return the faulty item to us for repair. If the fault is with a particular computer component please return the whole system so that we can ensure that everything works correctly upon repair. Please try to use the original packaging or, if that's not available, use whatever suitable packaging you can to prevent damage in transit. We cannot be held responsible for any damage to goods while in the hands of a courier.
Before returning something for repair please contact our HelpDesk with a description of the fault. Often the problem, which may appear hardware related, is actually a software or configuration issue and with some adjustment the problem can be solved.
Once a hardware fault has been confirmed please fill out the online Return Authorization Form. This will provide you with an RMA reference number and allow us to more easily track your repair.
Please note:
- Units exchanged as defective within the first 30 days following purchase will be issued a replacement unit.
- Units that present a defect more than 60 days following the sale will be repaired or replaced as per the Rain Computers warranty.
- The issuance of a Return Authorization number does not guarantee service or replacement under warranty. If the defect found was caused through means other than a manufacturing defect (i.e. abuse or misuse of the equipment) the unit will not be covered under warranty.
- Rain Computers does not issue returns for credit for defective units. Defective units will be replaced with a new unit of the same model and stock value or repaired.
Advanced replacement
It is possible to provide you with a replacement unit before the return of the faulty one. The price of the component will be charged to the credit card and refunded upon receipt of the damaged unit at Rain Computers. If the damaged component is not received within 30 days of shipment of new item or the returned component has a defect found to be caused through other means, such as abuse or misuse, the credit card charge may not be refunded or partially refunded. Inbound and outbound shipping costs are handled as per the standard or extended warranty if applicable.
Refunds
Refunds are at the discretion of Rain Computers, Inc. A restocking fee may be charged on all hardware, accessories, peripherals, parts and unopened software still in its/their sealed package that are returned for refund or credit. Approved refunds will be processed within 30 days from receipt of return items in resalable condition.
Restocking Fee
A restocking fee of up to 15% may be charged on all hardware, accessories, peripherals, parts and unopened software still in its/their sealed package that are returned for refund or credit. Additional charges may apply if any returned items are physically damaged or parts are missing.
Sales Tax
Rain Custom Shop purchases will include sales tax based on your shipping address and the sales tax rate in effect at the time your order is placed. The proof of purchase that Rain mails to you will include any applicable sales tax.
Deposits and Credit
All deposits for custom configured computers or other Rain products and services are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Credit and/or refunds issued via check, credit card or any form of valid payment not accepted within 90 days of issued day are forfitted.
Prices
Your total order price will include the price of the product (on the day of shipping) plus any applicable sales tax and shipping charges. Rain reserves the right to change prices for products displayed at the Rain Custom Shop at any time. Should Rain reduce its price on any shipped product within 5 calendar days of shipment, you may contact a Rain Sales representative at 1-877-MIX-RAIN to request a credit of the difference between the price you were charged and the current selling price.
Rain reserves the right to discontinue products without notice.
Additional Terms And Conditions
- Rain is not responsible for typographical errors.
- Rain reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of sale at the Rain Store at any time.
- All sales at the Rain Store are governed by New Jersey law, without giving effect to its conflict of law provisions.
- No Rain employee or agent has the authority to vary any of the Rain Store's policies or the terms and conditions governing any sale.
