Q: Do I get a keyboard and mouse with my Rain computer?

A: Yes. All Rain desktop and mini-pc computers include a USB keyboard and optical mouse.

Rain notebook computers do not include an external keyboard or mouse.

Q: Are discounted and refurbished Rain products available?

A: Yes. We often have a selection of refurbished computers, systems used for testing or older models. You can see the current selection in the Rain Outlet Store.

Q: How will my Rain computer be shipped?

A: When purchasing from a Rain Authorized Dealer, you should contact your sales representative to confirm the shipping method they prefer to use.

If you purchased a custom configuration from the Rain Custom Shop your system will be shipped via UPS.

Q: Which payment methods can I use?

A: We accept the following payment mehtods:

Credit Cards

Visa MasterCard Discover PayPal

You can use your Visa, Master Card and Discover card in the Rain Custom Shop or with a Rain Sales Team member at 1-877-MIX-RAIN.

Note: To make a payment via American Express, please choose PayPal at checkout and use your AMEX through the PayPal interface.

PayPal
You can also use PayPal in the Rain Custom Shop for regular PayPal payments, eCheck and other credit cards accepted by PayPal.

Wire Transfer
You can pay for your Rain computer via wire transfer at any time. Please contact a Rain Sales Team member at 1-877-MIX-RAIN or contact us online for wire transfer information.

Check or Money Order
You can send a check or money order to Rain Computers. Please make your check payable to Rain Computers, Inc and reference your Quote or Invoice number on the check.

Q: Can I return my custom configured Rain computer?

A: In the case of custom configurations, your system cannot be returned for a refund. However, we will do everything possible to make sure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. Custom configured Rain computers do still carry the standard 1yr and 3yr limited hardware warranties.

Q: I am not in the USA or Canada, can I still place an order?

A: At this time the Rain Custom Shop is only for US and Canadian customers. However, we'll be happy to process your order and ship anywhere in the world. For sales outside of the US and Canada you can speak to a knowledgeable and friendly Rain Sales Team member at (US) 1-973-962-1102.

For customers in Europe, you may wish to visit Rain UK located in Norwich, England.

Q: I'm in Canada. Can I still get a Rain computer?

A: Yes, Rain will ship to Canada. Also, there are some Rain Authorized Dealers that will accept payment from and ship to Canada.

Q: Which Rain audio/video workstation is best for me?

A: That's a tough question to answer but we can help! The best thing to do is talk to a knowledgeable and friendly Rain Sales Team member. We'll find out what kind of music and/or video you work with, what software and hardware you prefer to use and what kind of features will best suit your projects (and your budget).

Rain Sales Team members do not work on commission so you can be sure we'll help you find the best solution for you no matter what.

Q: Why is ordering through the Rain Custom Shop safe?

A: Security
All transactions for the online Rain Store are processed with 256-bit SSL encryption offering the highest level of security possible and ensuring that your personal information is kept safe. We do NOT retain your credit card information online after your transaction is complete.

Your Privacy
Your privacy is guaranteed. Your information is only used for checkout and order fulfillment and is never shared with or sold to any person, company or country.

Q: How long will it take to get my custom Rain?

A: If you order a standard configuration from a Rain Authorized Dealer, you could have your Rain computer in as little as 24 hours. It just depends on which models that particular dealer has in stock when you order.

If you the model you want is out of stock, Rain Authorized Dealers can request expedited delivery to their customers directly from Rain.

Finally, if you ordered a custom configuration from either a Rain Authorized Dealer or directly from the Rain Custom Shop, you can expect your system to ship in about 1-3 weeks though in certain cases it may take longer depending on your configuration.
